I’ve wanted a John Smedley since my days working at New Republic but couldn’t spend that kinda money. It’s been years and I wish I had. When Uniqlo opened, Mcnairy (who was a designer at New Republic) (not to be confused with the new label of same name that doesn’t look anything like the real thing) told me thyre fully fashioned shoulder is just as good. I didn’t buy into that and still don’t own one. A friend of mine has his fathers pink long sleeves cashmere polo and I want it bad.
